Jonell Rigdon Cook

Jonell Rigdon Cook, 71, of Homerville passed away Thursday morning, September 15, 2022, at Clinch Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. She was born in Pearson to the late Leonard Alden Rigdon and Doris Aliene Cheshire Rigdon. Mrs. Cook worked in several industries before retiring as a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

 Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Allen Cook; one son, Brad Cook; one brother, James Hubert Rigdon; one nephew, Carl Stalvey.

Survivors include two sisters, Margaret Higgs of Homerville and Betty Knight of Dupont; one brother, Larry Rigdon (wife Derese) of Dupont; nieces and nephews, Robert Knight of Homerville, Sandra Denmark of Homerville, Denise Cook Fahsholz (husband Andrew) of Macon, Derek Cook (wife Brittany) of Macon, Lavell Rigdon of Hortense, and Kaycee Sirmans of Dupont.

A graveside service will be held Saturday morning at 10 am at Pine Forest Cemetery.
