William (Bill) Davis Musgrove, 83, of Lake City, Florida went to be with the Lord surrounded by family on Tuesday evening, June 17, 2025 at Haven Suwannee Valley Hospice Care Center in Lake City. He was born December 8, 1941 to the late L.D. and Jeanette Musgrove. He was born and raised in Homerville, Georgia graduating from Clinch County High School in 1960. He also resided in Live Oak, Valdosta and Lake City. William married his life long partner Betty Sears Musgrove. Together they accomplished many things, they owned businesses and loved deeply. They continued to grow their family, having two sons, six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Throughout his lifetime he had many pursuits leading to the rebirth of two churches and the founding of Unity Christian Church of Homerville. William led many to Jesus Christ through his preaching and had a passion for sharing the Word with all those around him. He loved spending time with his family/friends and never met a stranger. He had many hobbies most of which were outdoors including woodworking, hunting, fishing, and working in his garden.
William was preceded in death by his grandparents Walter and Eula Musgrove, Homerville; Jessie and Era Hinson, Homerville; His parents L.D. and Jeanette Musgrove, Homerville.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Betty Sears Musgrove, Lake City; two sons, Tim (Vikki) Musgrove, Lake City; Randy (Tammy) Musgrove, Live Oak; six grandkids Ashley (Patrick) Emery, Lake City; Sha Musgrove (Matt Lamm), Lake City; Jason (Shelby) Musgrove, Lake City; Crystal (Bryce) Cannon, Watkinsville, Ga; Peyton Musgrove (Jaben Fullbright) Live Oak, and Joseph Musgrove of Live Oak, FL: eight great-grandkids Skyler Johnson, Addysen Garber, Liam Lamm, Jayde Musgrove, Waylon Cannon, Dawson Musgrove, Paxton Cannon, and Josie Cannon, two brothers, Charles (Frances) Musgrove, Live Oak; Andy (Carla) Musgrove, Homerville; one sister Jane Ann Musgrove Homerville; two aunts Eulalee Foskey and Verna Horton. First Cousin and Best Friend Al Denmark. Also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends and family at Roundtree Funeral Home Friday morning, June 20, 2025, at 10 am with the graveside service following at 11 am at Pine Forest Cemetery.
