Wade "W.C." Cecil Chauncey

Mr. Wade Cecil “W. C. Chauncey, 74, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019, at his sons residence, following an extended illness.   Mr. Chauncey was born April 15, 1944, in Homerville, GA to the late Wade Hampton Chauncey and Inez Hughes Chauncey. He was retired from B-Way as a shipping clerk after 40+ years and was a member of the Place of Blessing Church of God in Argyle. He was preceded in death by his wife: Latrell Davis Chauncey; two sisters: Yvonne Golden and Mary Ella Pittman; and one brother: Lois Chauncey.   Survivors are two sons and daughters-in-law: Travis & Michelle Chauncey, Lakeland and Jeff & Ashlea Chauncey, Ocala, FL; one brother: Terry Chauncey, Homerville; three grandchildren: Zeke Wilson, Madison Wilson and Ashton Burns; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.   Funeral services for Mr. Chauncey will be held Thursday, March 21, 2019 at four o’clock at the Shiloh Church.   Interment will be in the Shiloh Church Cemetery.   The family will receive friends Thursday, March 21, 2019, from 3 till 4 p.m. at the Shiloh Church.   Sympathy maybe expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.   Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
