Tony Lamar Palmer

Homerville, GA   Mr. Tony Lamar Palmer, 61, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018, at his residence, following a short illness.   Mr. Palmer was born July 1, 1956, in Atkinson County, Georgia, to the late Willie and Ruby Palmer. Mr. Palmer worked with the Clinch County Road Department prior to his retirement and he attended New Vision Church of God. Mr. Palmer was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Dale Palmer.   Survivors are one son: Tony Dale Palmer-Jacksonville, FL, one daughter: Shay Chapman, one sister: Libby Miller-Adel, GA, three brothers: Virgil Palmer, Michael Palmer-both of Homerville, Richard Palmer-Valdosta, GA, eight grandchildren: Tristan, Gavin, Jace, Keegan, Jacelyn, Lorilei, Jonathan, Alana, & several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.   Funeral Services for Mr. Palmer will be held Monday, June 11, 2018 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Roundtree Funeral Home.   The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.   Memorialization will be by cremation.   Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net   Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
