Tommy Griffin

Mr. Tommy Griffin, 73, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at his home, surrounded by his loving family, following a short illness. Mr. Griffin was born September 21, 1946, in Homerville to the late Shimmeal Griffin and Rosetta McSwain Griffin McCoy. He was a retired truck driver for Silvester Smith Trucking. Survivors are his wife: Jenny May Griffin, Homerville; three daughters: Lavonda Griffin, Douglas, Sadie Griffin, Homerville and Teresa James, Fargo; six sons: John Griffin, Jr., & Clay Griffin, both of Douglas, Frank May, Pearsom, Heath Thompson, Homerville, Kevin Thompson, Surrency and Samuel Griffin, Homerville: two brothers: James Griffin, Fargo and Nathaniel Griffin, Homerville; Davinci Smotherman, Marley Griffin and a number of other grandchildren and great grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. As per Mr. Griffin’s wishes he will be cremated with no formal visitation or funeral service. Sympathy maybe expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.
