Talmadge Clayton Lloyd, Sr., 37, of Homerville passed away Wednesday morning, May 15, 2024, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Waycross to Edward Clayton “Clay” Lloyd, Sr. and Jamie Rae Wallace Lloyd. Mr. Lloyd was a 2006 graduate of Clinch County High School, lived in North Carolina for a few years and lived most of his life in Homerville. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator for Scruggs Concrete.
Clayton was loved by many, and never met a stranger. He had a kind and loving softness about him. If you were lucky, you may have caught him dancing and singing to the music! He loved spending time with his wife Kaylee, playing with his children and caring for his dad. He enjoyed riding dirt roads, taking his kids fishing, four wheeling, and spending time with his mom at the beach. Clayton had a good heart and will be missed by many. Your wings were ready, but our hearts were not.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ingrid Wallace and James Wallace; paternal grandparents, Sarah Teston Lloyd and Talmadge Eugene Lloyd.
Survivors include his wife, Kaylee Renee Merritt Lloyd of Homerville, and his three children, Talmadge Clayton Lloyd, Jr., Sarah Grace Lloyd, and Brentley Matthew Stoker; his mother, Jamie Rae Wallace Lloyd of Denver, NC; his father, Edward Clayton “Clay” Lloyd of Homerville; one uncle, Todd Wallace of Denver, NC; other relatives.
