Stephen Darrell Stalvey, Sr.

Mr. Stephen Darrell Stalvey, Sr., 70, passed away Friday, Aug. 16, 2019, at his residence, following a short illness.   Mr. Stalvey was born December 25, 1948, in Homerville, GA to the late W. R. Stalvey and Mary Register Stalvey. He had worked for Memorial Medical Hospital in Savannah, GA and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Gina Stalvey Carmichael.   Survivors are his wife: Mary R. Stalvey, Walthourville, GA; one son and daughter-in-law: Stephen D. & Ladonna Stalvey, Jr. Florence, SC; one daughter: Stephanie Stalvey Smith, Hinesville, GA; one sister and brother-in-law: Betty Sue & Dr. Francis Coleman, Homerville; one brother and sister-in-law: Randy & Judy Stalvey, Jacksonville, NC; twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.   Funeral services for Mr. Stalvey will be held Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2019 at eleven o’clock at the Shiloh Church.   Interment will be in the Shiloh Church Cemetery.   The family will receive friends Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2019, from 10 till 11 a.m. at the church.   Sympathy maybe expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.   Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
