Shirley Ann Davis Wilson

April 4, 1938 — September 20, 2020

Mrs. Shirley Ann Davis Wilson, 82, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, September 20, 2020, following an extended illness.

 

Mrs. Wilson was born, April 4, 1938, in Lakeland, FL, to the late Robert Davis and Christine Thornton Davis. She worked as a nurse’s aide for several years and babysat many children over the years. She loved to fish and spend time with her family. Shopping and eating at KFC were some of her favorite things and she never meet a stranger. She was a member of the Homerville Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her first husband, Otis C. Tindall and her second husband, Rev. James Martin Wilson, one daughter, Lisa Tindall, one sister, Lois Smith and a brother, Cecil Davis.  

 

Survivors are three daughters: Linda Sue Ball (Matt), Adel, Natasha Gillis (Ben), DuPont and Susan Sparks (Scott), Ray City; three son: Otis Tindall (Melissa), Valdosta, Steve Tindall (Julie), Marian, FL and Jimmy Wilson (Evelyn), Homerville; four sisters: Arlene Browning, Homerville, Diane Moore & Mary Poff, both of Blackshear and Helen Helfrich, Redland, CA; two brothers: Raymond Davis, Homerville and Robert Davis, Newark, OH; nineteen grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Wilson will be held Thursday, September 24, 2020 at two o’clock at the Trinity Baptist Church.

 

Interment will be in the Riverview Memorial Garden Cemetery, Valdosta, GA.

 

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 24, 2020 from one until two p.m. at the church.
