Sherrie Logan Mikell

Donna Sherrie Logan Mikell, 73, of Homerville passed away Wednesday morning, December 24, 2025, at the Langdale Hospice House after an extended illness. She was born in Jacksonville, FL to the late Donald H. and Ruthaleen Corbitt Logan. Mrs. Mikell grew up in Fargo and lived most of her life in Homerville. She retired in 2018 as the County Clerk for Clinch County. Mrs. Mikell was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She loved to read, spend time at the beach, and especially making memories with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Tony Mikell of Homerville; one son and daughter-in-law, Winston and Crystal Peterson of Homerville; one daughter and son-in-law, Misty and David McQuaig of Homerville; five grandchildren, Austin Peterson, Emma Ryleigh Peterson, Maddey McQuaig, Cole McQuaig, and Maeley McQuaig; one brother and sister-in-law, Al and Carol Ann Logan of Valdosta; one niece, Jessica Lynn and Jordan Turman of Valdosta; several aunts, cousins, and close family members.

A memorial service will be held Sunday afternoon, December 28, 2025, at 3 pm at Trinity Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon beginning at 2 pm at Trinity Baptist Church.
