Scotty Lamar "Fly" Posley

Scotty Lamar "Fly" Posley, 46, of Hinesville, passed away peacefully at home on August 30, 2026, after bravely facing an extended illness. Born in Homerville to Vernell White, Scotty had a profound love for hunting, which brought joy to his life.

He joins his beloved grandmother, Bernice White; brother, James Posley; and sister-in-law, Linda Posley, who preceded him in death.

Left to cherish his memory are his devoted mother, Vernell White of Homerville; brothers Marol and Brandon Posley of Homerville, and Brass Posley of Waycross; sister Amanda Posley of Homerville; along with his adored eight nieces and three nephews.
