Ryland Galloway Ritch

Ryland Galloway Ritch, 33, of Homerville passed away Friday, December 19, 2025 at Clinch Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Valdosta to Verlin Ray “Richey Ritch, Jr. and Tracy Lastinger Ritch. Ryland lived in Perry, GA most of his life and was a 2010 graduate of Perry High School and moved to Homerville three years ago. He enjoyed cooking, watching movies and especially spending time with his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Verlin Ray “Richey Ritch, Jr.; paternal grandmother, Lunette Griffis Ritch; maternal grandfather, Larry Lastinger; maternal great grandmother, Ruth Allen.

Survivors include his mother, Tracy Lastinger Ritch of Valdosta; sister, Alexandria Thompson of Homerville; nieces, MaryRuth Ritch, Maggie Rae Singletary, and Molly-Reece Adams; nephews, Christopher Thompson, Memphis Adams, and Solomon Adams; maternal grandmother, Brenda Ciciora of Homerville; paternal grandparents, Verlin R. and Marion Ritch, Sr. of Homerville; several great aunts, uncles, and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday afternoon, December 23, 2025 at 2 pm at First Baptist Church in Homerville.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1 pm Tuesday at First Baptist Church.
