Robert Mizell

Robert Earl Mizell, 69, of Clinch County passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at his residence after a sudden illness. He was born in Clinch County to the late Rowan Mizell and Faye Delk Royals and lived here most of his life.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Belva Conger Mizell; his first wife, Ann Mizell; one brother, Phillip Mizell; one sister, Frances Arnold.

Survivors include one daughter, Lena Fitzgerald (John B.) of Clinch County; five sons, Daryl Mizell (Bianca) of Douglas, Bradly Earl Mizell (Angela) of Douglas, Derrick Mizell (Samantha) of Douglas, Eric Mizell of Clinch County, and Jeremy Mizell (Tish) of Douglas; two step-daughters, Diane Keen of West Berrien and Nicole Penzo (James) of Ray City; twenty-eight grandchildren; two sisters, Debbie Barrett of Sparks, GA, and Ramona Mizell of Albany, GA; six brothers, Marshall Mizell, Charlie Mizell, Jimmy Mizell, Joe Mizell, Randy Mizell, and Sid Mizell all of Clinch County; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 pm at Lang Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 1:30 until 2 pm at the cemetery.
