Peggy Nipper

Peggy Marie Goins Nipper, 73, of Homerville passed away Wednesday morning, January 5, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Candler Hospital in Savannah after an extended illness. She was born in Greensboro, NC to the late Luther Goins, Sr. and Mazie Chaney McNatt and lived in Homerville most of her life. Mrs. Nipper always loved going to Daytona Beach, especially during Race Week and taking helicopter rides, and going to the flea market.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Nipper; two sisters, Patricia Goins and Diane Goins; two brothers, Billy Goins and Luther Goins, Jr.; stepsister, Diane McNatt Watkins.

Survivors include one daughter, Sandra Delk of Argyle; one son, Roy Delk (Rose Malyska) of Savannah; four grandchildren, Devin Delk of Argyle, Kelsey Strickland of Offerman, Austin Delk of Newton, GA, Kendall Herrin of Savannah; and Matthew, Jayden, and Morgan Malyska of Savannah; two great grandchildren, Gavin and Luna Chauncey; stepbrother, Barry McNatt of Michigan; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A graveside service will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 pm at Pine Forest Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.
