Patty Jo Tiner

Mrs. Patty Jo “P.J.” Tiner, 85, passed away Friday, January 10, 2020, in the Coffee Regional Medical Center, Douglas, GA, following an extended illness. Mrs. Tiner was born December 25, 1934, in Cedar Key, FL, to the late Abb Tindale and Marie Prevatt Tindale. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband: Freddie Tiner, one daughter: Wendy Gonzales; one granddaughter: Patty Shelton Williford; and one brother: Porter Tindale. Survivors are one daughter: Ada Shelton Davis, Douglas; four sons and daughters-in-law: Jimmy & Marie Shelton, Douglas, Roy & Ruby Shelton, Waycross, Fred Shelton, Graham, FL and Johnny Shelton, Waycross; one sister-in-law: Evelyn Tindale, Tampa, FL; a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a number of other relatives. The family will receive friends Monday, January 13, 2020 from six till eight p.m. at the funeral home. Memorialization will be by cremation.
