Myrtice Nelson Lane

Myrtice Nelson Lane, 70, of Fargo passed away Monday, January 18, 2021,at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta. She was born in DeFuniak Springs, FL to the late Kinsey and Dasey Yawn Nelson. Mrs. Lane lived in Fargo most of her life where she worked at Stephen C. Foster State Park for many years. She was a member of the Higher Heights Christian Fellowship. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Creasie Cribbs; two sisters, Annie Lou Crews and Lounette Stephens; one brother, Bearnest Nelson. Survivors include her husband Melvin O. Lane of Fargo Ga., one daughter, Karen Cribbs (husband Lamar) of Perry, FL; one son, Jeffrey Lane (wife Tina) of Fargo, GA; four grandchildren, Mikaila Croft (husband Jonathan) of Live Oak, FL, Taylor Coody (husband Jared) of Lake Park, GA, Jacob Lane of Fargo, and Bailey Rowan of Fargo; two great grandchildren on the way; two sisters, Janice James (husband Alvin) of Fargo, and Judy Pittman of Fargo; two brothers, Glenn Nelson (wife Pam) of Homerville, and Ernie Nelson (wife Esther) of Fargo; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
