Mellissa Pittman Youmans

Mellissa Sue Pittman Youmans, 55, of Fargo passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022, at her residence after a short illness. She was born in Clinch County to the late Carrell Pittman and Bobbie Sue Chauncey Chute. Mrs. Youmans lived in Fargo most of her life where she was a homemaker and attended Fargo Church of God. She would always go to the ends of the earth to get a laugh out of people.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two infant children, Chadwick Ring and Haley Pittman.

Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Dannie Youmans of Fargo; one daughter, Savannah Youmans of Nashville, GA; three grandchildren, Hailynn King, Presleigh King, and Saylor Ellissa Reliford; two sisters, Anita Purvis (husband Huey) of Eatonton, GA, Megan Lofton (husband Earl) of Fargo; one brother, Danny Pittman (wife Darlene) of Fernandina Beach, FL; mother-in-law, Helen Padgett of Fargo; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held Thursday afternoon, November 17, 2022, at 2 pm at Fargo Church of God. Burial will follow in Fargo Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.
