Mary Holmes Bagley

Mrs. Mary Emma Holmes Bagley, 83, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at her home, surrounded by her loving family, following an extended illness. Mrs. Bagley was born, April 29, 1937, in Homerville, GA to the late L. Holmes and Ida Howling Holmes. She was a homemaker and attended the Lighthouse Assembly of God. She was preceded by her husband Leo Bagley, one son & daughter-in-law: David Bagley and Dottie Bagley; one daughter: Mary Newbern; two brothers: Lee L. Holmes and Clarence Holmes; three sisters: Sara Nell Taylor, Lillian Pittman and Sorena Branch. Survivors are one daughter and son-in-law: Brenda & John Moore, Homerville; one son: Johnny Newbern, Homerville; one brother: Earnest Holmes, Kingsland, GA; four grandchildren: Johnny & Amanda Newburn, Gina Bagley, Mary Beth & Will Price and Ashley & Preston Westberry; eleven great grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Bagley will be held Friday, July 17, 2020 at eleven o’clock in the Chapel of Roundtree Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery.
