Lynn Whittington Baker

Mrs. Rebecca Lynn Whittington Baker, 61, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019, at her residence, following a brief illness.   Mrs. Baker was born June 23, 1957, in Homerville, GA to the late Jerrell Willis Whittington. She had worked for the Clinch County Board of Commissioners as a clerk and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was preceded in death by her husband: Joey Baker and one son: Michael Strickland.   Survivors are mother and step-father: Janice H. & John Harper, Homerville; one sister and brother-in-law: Sissy & Steve Suggs, Homerville; two step-brothers and sister-in-law: Jimmy Harper, Argyle and Johnny & Renee Harper, Nashville, GA; one niece: NaChelle Suggs, Homerville; one nephew: Will & Desiree Suggs, Nashville, GA; four great nieces and nephews: Brady, Ashlynn, Ivey & Alyssa Suggs and a number of other relatives.   Funeral services for Mrs. Baker will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at eleven o’clock at the Chapel of Roundtree Funeral Home.   Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery.   The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 5, 2019, from 10 till 11 a.m. at the funeral home.   Sympathy maybe expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.   Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
