Linda Sue Powell

Mrs. Linda Sue Powell, 59, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, following an extended illness.   Mrs. Powell was born July 13, 1960, in Homerville, GA, to the late Daniel B. Hill, Sr. and Mary Ann Pittman Hill. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Shiloh Church. She was preceded in death by a two brothers: David Hill and Mark Hill.   Survivors are her husband: David Powell, Sr.; two sons: John David Powell, Jr. and Tim William Powell; one granddaughter: Keirsten Powell, all of Homerville; two step-daughters and step-sons-in-law: Teresa & Ben Warren, Nashville and Amy & Stephen Palmer, Homerville: three sisters and brothers-in-law: Mary & Monroe Henderson, White Oak, GA, Jean Rewis, Statenville, GA, Dorothy & David Balance, Homerville; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Daniel B. & Wanda Hill Jr., Lake City, FL, Dwight Hill, Jasper, FL, and Deanie & Carleen Hill, Homerville; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.   Memorial services for Mrs. Powell will be held Sunday, December 8, 2019 at three o’clock at the Shiloh Church.   Memorialization will be by cremation.   The family will receive friends at the church, Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 2 till 3 pm.   Sympathy maybe expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.   Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
