Latrell Davis Chauncey

Mrs. Bernice Latrell Davis Chauncey, 70, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019, at her son’s residence in Lakeland, GA, following a short illness.   Mrs. Chauncey was born March 5, 1948, in Ware County, GA, to the late Melvin Davis and Virginia Steedley Davis. She worked for Tiny Tots Daycare and was a member of the Place of Blessings Church of God, Argyle, GA. She was preceded in death by one brother: David Davis.   Survivors are her husband of 50 years: Wade Cecil “W.C.” Chauncey, DuPont; two sons and daughters-in-law: Travis & Michelle Chauncey, Lakeland, GA and Jeff & Ashlea Chauncey, Ocala, FL; three sisters and a brother-in-law: Linda Lieupo and Iris & Mike Harper, both of Homerville and Patricia Harris, Jacksonville, FL; one brother: Kenneth Davis, Homerville; three grandchildren: Zeke Wilson, Madison Wilson and Ashton Burns; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.   Funeral services for Mrs. Chauncey will be held Friday, January 25, 2019 at two o’clock at the Shiloh Church, Homerville, GA.   Interment will be in the Shiloh Church Cemetery.   The family will receive friends Friday, Jan. 25, 2019, from 1 till 2 p.m. at the Shiloh Church.   Sympathy maybe expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.   Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
