Kyler Smith

Kyler Dixon Smith, 9, of Homerville passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Clinch Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in an accident. He was born in Waycross and lived in Homerville all of his life. Kyler was in the third grade at Clinch County Elementary School. He was a member of Place of Blessings Church of God in Argyle.

Kyler was loved by a host of people including, his mother, Jeannie Smith; his father, Chad Douglas; his parents, Devaune and Denise Stalvey of DuPont; brothers and sisters, Grant Tucker, Krislynn Smith, Bryar (Ashley) Browning and their son, Brody, Tricity (Jacob) Ayscue and their children Branson and Charlotte, Dylan (Shelby) Stalvey, Melissa Stalvey, and Mahlinda Stalvey, Sage Douglas and Madison Douglas; Grandparents, Theresa and Richard Mulder of Cocoa Beach, FL, Tim Smith of Homerville, Bonnie Barlow-Lanier of Homerville, Diane and Wayne Oliver of Manor; great grandmother, Christine “Nanny PP” Pittman of Homerville; aunts and uncles, McKenna (Justin) Lindberg and their children, Tate and Weston of Valdosta, Emma Smith and her daughter Harmony Lapp of Valdosta, Bubba and Heather Holmes of Homerville, Danny and Stella Holmes of Homerville; special friend, Adam Henderson; numerous great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday afternoon, August 29, 2023, at 3 pm at Place of Blessings Church of God in Argyle. Burial will follow in New Prospect Cemetery in Manor.

The family will receive friends Monday evening beginning at 6 pm at Place of Blessings Church of God in Argyle.
