Kevin Scott Hammond

Kevin Scott Hammond passed away, October 2, 2020, from complications of diabetes. Born November 19, 1964, in Glens Falls, NY, to Vera and Sheridan Hammond. Kevin was known as a carpenter/handyman for over 15 years. He had a love for the outdoors and drawing. He attended Warrensburg Central School in NY. And in the 80s he went to Idaho to spend time with his dad and then later to Florida to spend time with his mom. That’s where he met and married his wife Wildeana and they had a son Korey. Later the 3 of them relocated to Georgia, his wife's home state. He was proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents Delbert and Helen Hammond his father Sheridan "Pete" Hammond. His maternal grandparent Hartwell and Faye Farrar. Survivors include his wife: Wildeana "Dee" Hammond, Homerville; their son: Korey Scott Hammond, Homerville; his mother:Vera Hammond Johnson of New Jersey: a sister Faith Hammond and her husband Dale, a niece Dominique and a nephew Ricky all of NH; also an Aunt Rhonda and her husband James and their son John all of NC. Along with many friends all over the US the he left a lasting impression with. He will be greatly miss but never forgotten. Memorialization will be by cremation and no formal service will be held.
