Kenneth Earl Kirkland

Kenneth Earl Kirkland, 63, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024, at River Brook Health Care in Homerville after an extended illness. He was born in Monticello, GA to the late Arthur A. and Sarah Ruth Power Kirkland. Mr. Kirkland grew up in Jackson, GA and worked for High Falls State Park until his health declined. He always enjoyed listening to country music and watching the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves. He especially enjoyed taking pictures and fishing. Mr. Kirkland was of the Christian faith.

Mr. Kirkland is survived by one sister, Sylvia Kirkland of Winter Garden, FL and one brother, Stanley Kirkland of Locust Grove, GA: two uncles, one aunt, and a host of cousins.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 11 am at Joshua’s Place Church in Jackson, GA.
