Julian Anderson

Julian Anderson, 72, of Dupont passed away Monday afternoon, Sept. 19, 2022, at Clinch Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. He was born in Atkinson County to the late Henry and Thelma Bowen Anderson and lived in Homerville most of his life. Mr. Anderson retired from Brockway Standard after twenty-eight years of service. He was a member of Homerville Freewill Baptist Church.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Anderson.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Martha Ann Andrews Anderson of Dupont; two sisters, Shirley Propes of Atlanta and Shirlene Branch (husband Chris) of Kirkland; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held Thursday morning, September 22, 2022, at 11 am at Homerville Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Atkinson County.

The family will receive friends Thursday morning beginning at 10 am at the church.
