Jonah Blake Pittman, 18, of Homerville passed away Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville from injuries sustained in an accident. He was born in Valdosta to Jeremy Blake Pittman and Kristen Smith Pittman. Jonah was a Senior at Clinch County High School. He played football until his junior year and always enjoyed supporting all the sports at CCHS. Jonah loved listening to country and rock music, playing the guitar, being with his friends, riding dirt roads, and especially being an uncle to his niece, Rynleigh Blake. He was a member of New Vision Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jeremy Blake Pittman; maternal grandmother, Mary Lou Smith; paternal great-grandparents, RB and Edith Pittman, and Rufus and Alice Holton; maternal great-grandparents, Oswald and Edna Smith, and Tollie and Eva Lily Hallford.

Survivors include his mother, Kristen Smith Pittman of Homerville; sister, Lily-Ana Pittman of Homerville; niece, Rynleigh Blake Pittman; sister, Kaliah Pittman; paternal grandparents, Neil and Debbie Holton Pittman of Homerville; maternal grandfather, Shelton Smith; aunts and uncles, Cathy and Mack Wilson of Argyle, Erin and Aaron York of Homerville, and Kyle and Tori Pittman of Nashville; honorary brothers, Alvin Green, Darion Thomas, Lamarion Gainey, Calyja Lee, Xavion Johnson, Luke Mashburn, Carter Lunsford, Remington Wheeler, Ian Reliford, and Camden Bennett; and a host of cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be held Monday, March 16, 2026, at 3 pm at Cornerstone Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Baldree and Rev. J.D. Quinn officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Forest Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5 pm – 8 pm at Cornerstone Baptist Church.

The family requests the Clinch County High School Class of 2026 to serve as Honorary Pallbearers and should meet at the church by 2:45 pm Monday for the service and please red and black.
