Joel Ellis

Joel Alan Ellis, 61, of Homerville passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at his residence after an extended illness. He was born in Deer Park, TX to the late Nolan Ellis and Patsy McDaniel Kincaid and lived in Homerville for many years. Mr. Ellis attended First Baptist Church. He was an Electrician by degree and was a plumber, worked in maintenance, and was a jack of all trades.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray Ellis and Dennis Ellis.

Survivors include one daughter, Chelsea Ellis of Homerville; two grandchildren, Sage Ellis and Lila Ellis-Lee, both of Homerville; several other relatives.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 11 am at First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 am at the church.
