Jesse Watson

Jesse Jackson Watson, 70, of Homerville passed away Thursday morning, June 1, 2023, at his residence after an extended illness. He was born in Broxton, GA to the late Jess and Eula Mae Pollard Watson. Mr. Watson was a graduate of Atkinson County High School and was a Truck Driver most of his life. He always enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, collecting miniature cars and especially taking care of his dogs.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Inell Hart, Susie Walker, and Sadie Brigmond.

Survivors include three children, Steven Watson of Douglas, Michael Watson (Kristie) of Homerville, Andreia “Candy” Watson of Homerville; seven grandchildren, Payton Watson, Destiny Watson, Steven Michael Watson, Luke Watson, Malachi Watson, Lindsey Watson, and Jacob Ryder Watson; one great-granddaughter, Kaylynn Johnson; former wife, Lillie Davis of Homerville; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon, June 3, 2023, from 2 until 4 at the funeral home.

Memorialization is by cremation.
