Janice Marie Powell

Homerville, GA   Mrs. Janice Marie Perez Powell, 74, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018, in the Satilla Hospice, Waycross, Georgia, following an extended illness.   Mrs. Powell was born February 23, 1944, in Jacksonville, FL, to the late Leroy Perez and Mary Louise Folgety Perez. Mrs. Powell attended the Harvest Time Church of God and had worked as a CNA for Easter Seals.   Survivors are one daughter and son-in-law: DeeDee & Chad Bernbeck, Fruita, CO; four sons and daughters-in-law: Eddie & Sissy Tiner and John & Mary Beth Tiner, all of Homerville, Ivan & Debra Tiner, Waycross, GA and Freddie & Vonnie Tiner, Grand Junction, CO; 13 grandchildren: 20 great grandchildren: several nieces, nephews and other relatives.   As per her request memorialization will be by cremation and no formal visitation or service will be held.   Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net   Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
