Hughey Purvis

Hughey Purvis, 63, of Eatonton, GA, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family following an extended illness.

Mr. Purvis was born on May 17, 1961 in Warner Robins, GA to the late W. Purvis and Leomie Purvis. He had grown up in Warner Robins before moving to Eatonton, GA several years ago. He was a loving husband, father and brother showing his love in many ways.

Mr. Purvis is survived by his loving wife of 8 years, Anita Pittman Purvis, formally of Fargo, GA, now living in Eatonton, GA; two sons: Drew Purvis and Justin Bryant; one daughter: Chris; two sisters: Peggy Tucker (Howard) and Brenda Griffis; several nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Memorization was by cremation.

How blessed is the tie that binds, Our hearts in lasting love,

The comradeship of kindred minds, Is like to that above.

So when at last we have to part, In sorrow and in pain,

We know we still are joined in heart, Until we Meet again.
