Herman Cleo Padgett

Mr. Hermon Cleo Padgett, 73, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at his residence following a short illness.   Mr. Padgett was born November 30, 1945, in Holmes County, FL, to the late Reo Padgett and Lois Whitehead Padgett. He was a self-employed truck driver.   Survivors are his wife: Ruthy Williams Padgett, Homerville; two sons and daughters-in-law: Dean & Denice Padgett, Mexico Beach, FL and Darel & Samantha Padgett, Homerville; five sisters and brothers-in-law: Diane & Carthell Walsingham, Warsaw, FL, Versie & Larry Curry, Bonifay, FL, June & Danny Burges and Pauline Padgett, both of Defuniak Springs, FL and Carrie Padgett, Dothan, AL; one brother and sister-in-law: Reo & Doris Padgett, Bonifay, FL; nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.   Funeral services for Mr. Padgett will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019 at eleven o’clock at the Homerville Free Will Baptist Church.   Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery.   The family will receive friends Friday, May 31, 2019, from six till eight p.m. at the funeral home.   Sympathy maybe expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.   Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
