Herman Brown

Mr. Herman Brown, 70, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019, at Langdale Hospice, surrounded by his loving family, following a brief illness.   Mr. Brown was born November 13, 1948, in Berrien County, GA to the late Manning S. Brown and Pinkie Sweat Brown. He was retired form Alden Dukes Logging. He was preceded in death by his wife: Hazel Jean Thornton Brown; four brothers: M. B. Brown, Mack Brown, Walter Brown and Jack Brown; three sisters: Blanche Hahn, Doris Abbott and Betty Johnson.   Survivors are two daughters and sons-in-law: Tammy & Randy Griffin, Hahira and Regina & Norris Mattox, Homerville; one son and daughter-in-law: Allen & Dawn Brown, Homerville; one sister: Lucille Hancock, Nashville, GA; one brother and sister-in-law: Homer & Hazel Brown, Midville, GA; seven grandchildren: Brooke & Lance Lehman, Morgan & Brandon Morris, Kaylee & Austin Weaver, Dillon Mattox, Darcee Anna Brown, Taylor Griffin and Dane Allen Brown; two great grandchildren: Lora Leigh Lehman and Mattox Reed Morris, a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.   Graveside services for Mr. Brown will be held Thursday, November 14, 2019 at two o’clock in the North Cemetery, DuPont, GA.   The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. till 2 p.m. at the North Cemetery.   Sympathy maybe expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.   Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
