Hazel Pittman Enfinger

Hazel Lue Pittman Enfinger, 88 of Fargo passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at her residence after an extended illness. She was born in Atkinson County to the late Henry Eugene and Darcus Jordan Pittman and lived in Fargo most of her life. Mrs. Enfinger worked for Griffis Honey Company and was a member of Fargo Church of God. She always enjoyed cooking and fishing.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Houston Enfinger; one granddaughter, Creasie Cribbs; one great grandson, Chandler Elijah Hathaway; three brothers, W.H. Pittman, Mose Pittman, and Carroll Pittman.

Survivors include seven children, Charles Houston “C.H.” (Stephanie) Enfinger of Doerun, GA, Donald James (Lisa) Enfinger of Millwood, Mary Lou (Joe) White of Waycross, Leon Enfinger of Homerville, Paulette Cribbs of Fargo, Marilyn (Donnie Ray) Yeager of Fargo, Loretta Enfinger of Fargo; seventeen grandchildren; forty-two great grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Annie Mae Oliver (Omer) of Fernandina Beach, FL, Ione Welch of Fargo, and Lorene Odom of Fargo; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held Friday morning, October 2, 2026, at 11 am at Fargo Church of God with Rev. Michael Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Fargo Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 pm until 8 pm at Fargo Church of God.
