Glenda Sue Jordan

Glenda Sue Jordan, 69, of Homerville passed away Monday, April 28, 2025, at Clinch Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She was born in Clinch County to the late Lige and Lucy Bell Smith Jordan. Ms. Jordan was a graduate of Clinch County High School and lived in Argyle for many years before moving to Homerville. She retired from Brockway after 40 years of service. Ms. Jordan attended Place of Blessings Church of God and loved her two dogs and three cats.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by four sisters, Enga Glenda Gail Jordan, Sammie Joyce Griffin, Carlene Johnson, and Imogene Mathis: three brothers, Dick Jordan, James “Pete” L. Jordan, and Gerald Jordan.

Survivors include one sister, Hilda Faye Hufstetler of Lakeland; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will have a graveside memorial service at a later date.
