Geraldine Taylor Smith

Fargo, GA   Mrs. Geraldine Taylor Smith, 71, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018, in the Shands UFHealth, Jacksonville, FL, following a brief illness.   Mrs. Smith was born September 22, 1946, in Atkinson County to the late William Taylor and Alline Allison Taylor. She was owner of Swamp Fox Transport. She was preceded in death by one son: Judson Eugene Smith; one sister: Connie Chewing; and one brother: Andrew Taylor.   Survivors are her husband: Dale Smith, Fargo; two daughters and fiancé: Crystal Smith Lloyd & Raymond Peterson, DuPont, and Summer Dawn Smith, Fargo; one son: Joey Benny Smith, Fargo; one brother: Benny Taylor, Homerville; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and other relatives.   Funeral services for Mrs. Smith will be held Friday, May 4, 2018 at eleven o’clock from the Chapel of Roundtree Funeral Home.   Interment will be in the Smith Cemetery, 6065 Lakeland Hwy., DuPont, GA.   The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, May 3, 2018, from 6 till 8 p.m.   Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net   Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
