Eric Trevelyan, Jr.

Eric Trevelyan, Jr, 56, passed on January 02, 2023. He was born at Tift Regional Medical Center to Eric Trevelyan Sr. and Cheryl Ray Trevelyan on April 07, 1966. He welcomed his only child, Chelsea Trevelyan Townson (Bj Townson) into the world on March 13th 1993. He married Tammy Graves on March 07, 2015 and they lived together in Homerville, Georgia.


Eric graduated from Tift County High School with the class of 1984. He then attended college at Savannah College of Art & Design, where he majored in Illustration and minored in Graphic Design.
in 1989. Eric did freelance artwork before joining the McAlpin Sign team in 1994. He worked
at McAlpin signs for 28 years, until his passing.


Throughout all of his years, Eric created a more beautiful world for those around him. He saw things in a way most people couldn’t. He never met a stranger and shared a laugh and a smile with everyone he crossed paths with.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Grady and Frances Ray; paternal grandparents, Lt. Col. Ray and Dorothy Trevelyan.

Survivors include his wife, Tammy Graves Trevelyan of Homerville; daughter, Chelsea Townson and her husband, B.J. of Tifton; his father and mother, Eric, Sr. and Cheryl Ray Trevelyan of Tifton; sister, Heather Trevelyan Lindsey (Ben) of Tifton and her daughter, Mallory Lindsey (Carianne) of Jacksonville, FL; a special cousin that was like a sister, Buffy Pilkinton (James) of Sycamore and her children, Hunter and Emma Lacy; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wilbert and Fern Graves of Homerville; sister-in-law, Pam Bateson (Richard) of Homerville; brother-in-law, John Graves (Malinda) of Patterson; nieces, Kellie Dixon (Vann) of Homerville, Kourtland Livingston (Ashley) of Waycross; and great nieces, Annie and Khloe Dixon, and Bailey and Bexley Livingston; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held Thursday afternoon, January 5, 2023, at 4 pm at Shiloh Church in Homerville. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.

The family will receive friends beginning at 2:30 pm Thursday afternoon at the church.
