Edward Worthington

Mark Edward Worthington, 69, of Homerville passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at his residence after a sudden illness. He was born in Homerville to the late Joseph Ben Worthington and Georgia Belle Whittington Worthington and lived here most of his life. Mr. Worthington always enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, and motorcycles.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Snyder Worthington; one daughter, Angela Worthington Blitch of Thomasville; five grandchildren, Eric, Devin, Ridge, Trent, and Avonlea; one sister, Joyce Shoemaker of Brunswick; one brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Ocie Worthington of Manor; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A Celebration of Life visitation will be held Sunday afternoon, July 5, 2026, from 3 pm until 5 pm at Roundtree Funeral Home.
