Mr. Edward Leroy “Eddie” Tiner, 64, passed away early Friday morning, June 19, 2026, in the Clinch Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness.
Mr. Tiner was born in Homerville, GA, July 29, 1961 to the late, Freddie L. Tiner and Janice Marie Powell Tiner. Mr. Tiner was a self-employed truck driver and was a member of the Place of Blessing Church of God.
Mr. Tiner loved being a mechanic, loved bogging, fishing, making jokes and especially loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors are his wife of 46 years: Mary “Sissy” Tiner, Homerville: one daughter: Susan Tiner, Homerville; one son and daughter-in-law: “Bebo” and Melissa Tiner, Homerville; one sister and brother-in-law: DeeDee and Chad Bernbeck, Homerville; two brothers and sisters-in-law; John “Bugg” and Mary Beth Tiner, Homerville and Freddie L. and Vonnie Tiner, Grand Junction CO; four grandchildren: Jared Morgan, Lindsey Morgan, Marisa Tiner and Riley Anderson and “Bolegs” and Isabella Tiner: three great grandchildren: Raianna Cason, Kelsey Rae Alverson, Natalie Grace Alverson, several nieces and nephews and several other relatives.
Funeral services for Mr. Tiner will be Monday, June 22, 2026, from the Place of Blessing Church of God at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Dave Inman.
Burial will follow in the Tiner Family Cemetery, 83 Ashley Lane, Homerville, GA.
The family will receive friends Sunday, June 21, 2026 from 4 to 6 pm at the funeral home.
