Deloris Stalvey Herrin

Mrs. Margaret Deloris Stalvey Herrin, 60, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024, at her residence following a short illness.

Mrs. Herrin was born, April 1, 1963, in Homerville to Mrs. Margaret Harper Stalvey Moody and the late James Leslie Stalvey. She had made Homerville her home all her life and worked for Ben T. Willoughby Farms. She was preceded in death by her father; one sister: Brenda Selph and one brother-in-law: Tommy Davis.

Survivors other than her mother, are her husband: Bobby Herrin, Homerville; daughter Amanda Finch Griffin (Nathan), Homerville; one son: Benny James Finch (Samantha), Homerville; one sister: Patricia Davis, DuPont; two brothers; J.L. Stalvey (Cindy), Valdosta and David Stalvey(Brenda), Homerville; two grandchildren: Breanna & Jim Mixon and Kylee Finch; four great grandchildren: James Mixon, Mark Owen Mixon, William David Mixon, and Jackson Daniel Mixon; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Billy and Vester Pittman, Homerville; five nieces, five nephews and several other relatives.

Funeral services for Mrs. Herrin will be held Friday, Jan. 5, 2024 at two o’clock in the Lighthouse Assembly of God. Burial will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, from 1 till 2 at the church.
