Delores Juanita Preston

Mrs. Delores Juanita Forbes Preston, 61, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2020, in the South Georgia Medical Center, Valdosta, following an extended illness. Mrs. Preston was born February 27, 1959, in Melbourne, FL, to the late Benjamin Forbes and Hattie Howard Forbes. She attended the Harvest Time Church of God and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Wayne Forbes and Doug “Bear” Forbes; one sister: Joan Carroll and one son-in-law: Wilson Prescott. Survivors are one daughter: Melissa Prescott, Homerville; one son and daughter-in-law: Chris & Miho Lairsey, Callahan, FL; one sister: Annette Roberson, Callahan, FL; two brothers and sister-in-law: James Forbes, Homerville and Gene & Liz Forbes, Callahan, FL; one granddaughter: Peyton Lairsey, Callahan, FL; two grandsons: Mitchell Prescott, Homerville and Logan Lairsey, Callahan, FL; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
