Daphne Jeanette Hodges

Mansfield, Texas   Ms. Daphne Jeanette Hodges, 88, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018, in Mansfield, Texas, following an extended illness.   Ms. Hodges was born July 8, 1929, in Maryland, to the late Tommy Lockamy and Agnes North Crews. Ms. Hodges was a homemaker and loved nature. She was a very sweet, dear, and loving mother. She always tried to help others that were in need and she had a special place in her heart for all of her animals. She loved ice cream and coffee. Ms. Hodges was loved by all who knew her.   Survivors are her son: Steve Hodges-Mansfield, TX and her daughter Sharon Hodges-Michigan, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several other relatives and many more friends.   Graveside Services for Ms. Hodges will be held Thursday, June 21, 2018, at 11 a.m. at North Cemetery, DuPont, Georgia.   In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to any non-kill animal shelter.   Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net   Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
