Daniel James Kirkland

Mr. Daniel James Kirkland, 48, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019, in the Clinch Memorial Hospital, following a short illness.   Mr. Kirkland was born July 7, 1971, in Jacksonville, FL to the late Pasty Louise Spaulding Kirkland. He had worked as a Correctional Officer and a mechanic. He was a member of the Olive Leaf Hunting Club and was preceded in death by a sister, Melissa Alane Kirkland.   Survivors are his father: James Kirkland, DuPont; one daughter: Patsy Denise Kirkland, DuPont; one sister and brother-in-law: Heidi & Raymond McLoughin, Jacksonville, FL; his ex-wife: Toni Hammock, Folkston, GA; a number of cousins and other relatives.   Memorial services for Mr. Kirkland will be held Saturday, December 14, 2019 at eleven o’clock in the Chapel of Roundtree Funeral Home.   Memorialization will be by cremation and interment will be in the North Cemetery.   The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 till 11 am.   Sympathy maybe expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.   Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
