Clarence Propes

Clarence Lugene “Hogman” Propes, 72, of Waycross passed away Saturday morning, August 12, 2023, at his residence after a sudden illness. He was born in Homerville to the late Claude Daniel and Virginia Beckham Propes and lived here most of his life. Mr. Propes enjoyed Hog hunting.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Geraldine Propes and Maldine Green; five brothers, Ronnie Joe Propes, Preston Propes, John Henry Propes, Randy Propes, and CF Propes.

Survivors include his former wife, Linda Propes of Waycross; two children, Tony Propes of Fleming Island, FL and Jennifer Marie Propes of Waycross; adopted granddaughter, Carrigan Propes of Waycross; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, David Propes of Waycross and Steven Propes of Homerville; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A graveside service will be held Saturday morning, August 19, 2023, at 11 am at Pine Forest Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 pm at the funeral home.
