Cathy Crocker Edenfield

Mary Catherine "Cathy" Crocker Edenfield, 62, of Homerville passed away Sunday afternoon, February 13, 2022, at her residence after an illness. She was born in Ellwood, Indiana to the late David E. Crocker and Mary A. Crocker. Mrs. Edenfield lived in Indiana most of her life and the last fifteen years in Georgia. She was a longtime employee of Walgreens. Mrs. Edenfield was never able to have children, she loved all the other children greatly and loved her pet dogs, Honey Dew, Rascal, and Little Man. She was a Southern Baptist by faith and was saved on Father’s Day many years ago. Mrs. Edenfield loved spending time with family and outside planting flowers or working in her “Barn”. She also loved camping, especially at the river with lots of family.

Survivors include her husband of 13 years, Danny Edenfield of Homerville; three stepdaughters, Dana Reliford, Kayla Scott, and Lexie Edenfield; five brothers, David W. Crocker of Homerville, Richard E. Crocker (wife Mary) of Blackshear, Timothy S. Crocker of Blackshear, Gregory D. Crocker (wife Donna) of Smyrna, GA, Stephen L. Crocker (wife Cindy) of Smyrna, GA; seven step grandchildren; special adopted son, Chase Guess; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday afternoon, February 16, 2022, at 2 pm at Roundtree Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Homestead Cemetery in Homerville.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 pm at the funeral home.
