Carolyn Irvena King-Giffin

Carolyn "Irvena" King-Giffin, beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2026, at the age of 75.

Carolyn was born on October 7, 1950. She graduated from Clinch County High School in 1968 and went on to earn her Associate Degree in Nursing. She dedicated her professional life to caring for others, working as a clinical nurse in hospitals throughout South Georgia and North Florida. Her compassion, dedication, and commitment to helping others touched the lives of many patients and families throughout her nursing career.

Carolyn will be lovingly remembered by her son, Joshua Alan Giffin, and her brother, Preston “Tim” King.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jeremiah Giffin, and her brother, Danny King.

Carolyn’s life was one of service, love, and devotion to her family and to those she cared for as a nurse. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
