Carolyn Lane Delk

Carolyn Lane Delk, 70, of Homerville passed away Friday evening at Langdale Hospice House in Valdosta after a short illness. She was born in Callahan, FL to the late Charlie Otis and Pencie Lee Smith Lane. Mrs. Delk lived in Homerville most of her life and was a homemaker.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin Lane and Micky Lane.

Survivors include her fiancé, Ralph Martin of Homerville; one daughter, Ann Gilbreth; several grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Ewing of Homerville and Margaret Barber of Valdosta; sister-in-law, Joyce Lane of Homerville; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A graveside service will be held Monday, October 9, 2023, at 3 pm at Fargo Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends beginning at 2:30 pm at the cemetery.
