Carole Lynn Johns Harris

Carole Lynn Johns Harris, 87, of Homerville passed away Saturday morning, December 6, 2025, at her residence after a short illness. She was born in Columbus, GA to the late C.E. and Edith James Johns. Mrs. Harris lived most of her life in Jacksonville, FL and lived in Homerville for the last few years. She was a volunteer with the Clinch Memorial Hospital Auxillary and of the Baptist faith.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Perry Harris; one daughter, Carole Leigh Harris; one sister, Beth Mahn.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Eric and Renee Harris of Homerville, and Shannon and Bonnie Harris of Jacksonville; two grandchildren, Kaine Harris and Erica Neely; three great-grandchildren, Braxton, Greyson, and Huck Harris; two sisters, Rose Lankford of Homerville, and Elizabeth Upchurch of Florida; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A graveside service will be held Monday, December 8, 2025, at 1 pm at Pine Forest Cemetery with Rev. Austin Deloach officiating.
