Caren Dewitt Geiger

Mr. Caren Dewitt Geiger, 74, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2019, in the Memorial Satilla Health Care, Waycross, GA, following a brief illness. Mr. Geiger was born June 9, 1945, in Millwood, GA, to the late J. B. Geiger and Earnestine Bennett Geiger. He had worked as a self-employed welder and was a member of the Indian Mound Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife: Shirley Anderson Geiger, Homerville, GA; two daughters: Shelia Hunter, Hahira, GA and Sue Calhoune, Bonaire, GA; three sons: Mike Geiger, Lakeland, GA, Marlan Geiger, Bonaire, GA and Joe Fender, Warner Robbins, GA; one sister: Iris Braswell, Cogdell, GA; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mr. Geiger will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at eleven o’clock at the Indian Mound Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Indian Mound Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, December 9, 2019 from 5 till 8 p.m. at Indian Mound Church. Sympathy maybe expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.
