Bruce S. Herrin

Mr. Bruce S. Herrin, 86, passed away, February 10, 2021, at his residence, following an extended illness. Mr. Herrin was born September 21, 1934, in Homerville, GA, to the late Hoke S. Herrin, Sr. and Cleo Corbitt. He was a member of the New Vision Church of God and was a cable layer for Bell South before his retirement. He was preceded in death by his father and mother and his wife: Peggy JoAnn Smith Herrin, one brother: Hoke Herrin, Jr. Survivors are two daughters: Darlene (Donald) Johnson and Susan (Gary) Allen all of Homerville; three sisters: Janice (John) Harper, Jackie (Lester) Cribbs and Mildred Briley; three brothers: Raymond (Jean) Herrin, Johnny (Terry) Herrin and Dwight (Brenda) Herrin: three granddaughters: Pam Johnson, Christina (Michael) O’Brien and Brandi Delk; two great grandchildren: Chaston O’Brien and Colton O’Brien; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Graveside services for Mr. Herrin will be held Friday, February 12, 2021 at eleven o’clock at the Pine Forest Cemetery.
