Billy Joe Steedley

Billy Joe Steedley, 65, of Argyle passed away Monday evening, July 31, 2023, at Folkston Park Nursing Home after an extended illness. He was born in Homerville to the late Baxley and Mildred Brannen Steedley and lived in Clinch County most of his life. He was a carpenter and of the Baptist faith.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one son, B.J. Steedley.

Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Crews of Waycross and Christina Grundell of Tallahassee, FL; four grandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Laverne Thomas and the late Bill Thomas of Waycross and Patsy and Junior Lott of Lakeland; four brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Telisa Steedley of Argyle, Ronnie and Lisa Steedley of Brunswick, Randy and Deborah Steedley of Douglas, and Leonard and Evelyn Steedley of Argyle; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A graveside service will be held Thursday morning, August 3, 2023, at 11 am at Camp Branch Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery in Manor.
