Beverly Abbott

Beverly Simms Abbott of Fargo passed away Monday evening, November 1, 2022, at the Hospice Satilla Hospice House in Waycross after an extended illness. She was born in Thompson, CT to the late Mark and Alice Orzeck Simms. Mrs. Abbott retired as a Surgical Technician after thirty years of service. Mr. and Mrs. Abbott moved to Fargo in 2006 and was a member of Edith Baptist Church. She always enjoyed supporting all the churches in the community. Mrs. Abbott always enjoyed reading.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, June Brown.

Survivors include her husband of thirty-four years, Roy Abbott of Fargo; three step-children, Roy Abbott, Douglas, Abbott, and Pamela Guskey; one sister, Alice Gail Davern; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon, Nov. 5, 2022, at 2 pm at Fargo Church of God. Burial will follow in Fargo Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday beginning at 1 pm at Fargo Church of God.
